During the evenings, our Boutique colleagues welcomed several candidates in the Boutique. No standard interviews at a table, but an accessible evening where candidates learned more about working at My Jewellery, met other candidates from the region and joined short activities to get to know each other better.

That personal and informal atmosphere is exactly what made the evening so valuable. Candidates immediately got a feeling for the team, the Boutique and our way of working. And we instantly got to know the energy, personality and motivation behind the CVs.

A real team effort

The Careers Evenings were organised together by our Recruitment team and Boutique teams. From the preparations to welcoming candidates on the evening itself: everyone worked together to make it a success. Because growth is not only about our customers, but also about growing as a team. Together, we’re looking for new colleagues who perfectly fit My Jewellery.

Moving together

Colleagues who were interested received two free trial classes. It quickly turned into a big success. Entire teams signed up for classes together and even colleagues who wouldn’t normally describe themselves as sporty unexpectedly discovered a new hobby.
Whether it was early in the morning or after a workday at the office, exercising together brought not only relaxation, but also extra fun outside working hours. Besides movement, it was mainly about recharging, laughing together and trying something new with colleagues. That’s exactly what makes initiatives like this so special.

From trial class to new routine

What started as a fun introduction grew into an ongoing collaboration. A few months later, many colleagues are still taking pilates classes together at the studio. A great example of how small initiatives can contribute to connection, vitality and fun.

An afternoon full of action and teamwork

Where orders are normally picked and packed at full speed during the week, an entirely new playing field came to life. Teams went all in, there was lots of laughter and of course everyone did everything they could to take home the win.
But beyond the competition, the afternoon was mainly about having fun together. Stepping away from the daily routine for a moment, getting to know colleagues in a different way and creating memories outside of work.

More than just work

At My Jewellery, we believe it’s important to not only work hard together, but also make time for fun and connection. This laser gaming afternoon was another great example of that. And honestly? Some colleagues turned out to be surprisingly skilled at strategic missions between the warehouse aisles too.

Shopping with colleagues

Throughout the day, colleagues could stop by to browse, shop their favourite pieces and fully get into the orange King’s Day spirit. The sample sale brought not only lots of happy faces, but also extra gezelligheid around the office. A moment to shop together, laugh and enjoy the excitement leading up to King’s Day.

The perfect start to the day

We kicked off the morning with two delicious surprises: a coffee bar serving fresh cappuccinos and freshly baked cupcakes for all colleagues. A small moment to take a break together, catch up and enjoy something tasty

Raising the bar together

In Q4, we challenged all of our Boutiques to raise the bar even higher. To compete for the grand prize, teams had to achieve at least 110% of their sales target and deliver strong results on key KPIs. It required focus, teamwork and consistency.

And the team in Alkmaar? They fully embraced the challenge. With energy, ambition and strong team spirit, they gave it their all and achieved an amazing result.

Room for further growth

With this expansion, we are not only creating more space for our logistics operation, but also building a modern working environment where innovation, efficiency and work happiness take centre stage. The new building is being developed by Intervest Offices & Warehouses and will receive a BREEAM Excellent certification: an international sustainability label for buildings with minimal environmental impact.

Sustainability plays an important role in the development of the warehouse. From smart solutions to energy-efficient applications, everything is focused on future-proof building and responsible growth.

Everyone helps out

Preparations start well in advance at My Warehouse, where colleagues work hard to get all products ready for the sale. As soon as the doors open, colleagues from headquarters and the Boutiques also jump in on location. From restocking and packing to checkout and helping customers: everywhere you look, colleagues are working together to make the Sample Sale a success.

That’s exactly what makes this week so special. Colleagues from different teams and locations are working together, getting to know each other better, and achieving something great together.

Working together during peak moments

The Sample Sale perfectly shows what My Jewellery stands for: teamwork, energy and achieving success together. Whether you usually work in a Boutique, at headquarters or at My Warehouse: this week, we truly do it together.

Starting the day together

A delicious breakfast was waiting for everyone in the Bistro at our Headquarters, where colleagues could also stop by the juice bar for fresh juices. During breakfast, there was plenty of time to catch up, laugh together and enjoy a relaxed start to the workday These kinds of moments bring extra connection and energy to the workplace.

Easter was also celebrated together in our Boutiques. Store Managers organised breakfast for their teams, so colleagues there could enjoy a cosy start to the day together as well.
